When Val's mother called me to work with her again, I was very excited! I've been working with Val since she was first born, 3 years ago. You may never meet a child more cherished by her parents. We work together at least once a year; but this year was different.
"We have some special cowgirl boots to work with", Holly said.

Apparently, these little red boots were Hollys' sisters while growing up. When I found this out I knew we indeed had the makings of a great storybook. The day arrived, and as expected, Val was beautiful and busy. I chased her around for 2 hours and then went home and took a nap!! Seriously, there were just too many great shots to choose just one or two to print.
A book seemed the most logical answer.

Holly went online to search for poetry about cowgirls and cowgirl boots. She found the perfect words to go with the images we'd captured. We added excerpts from this poem to complete the storybook, and create a lifetime keepsakes for her grandparents to cherish.
